THANK YOU for your interest in GOOD PLANNING NOW!, a coalition focused on helping to promote and encourage good planning efforts in all of San Diego County. GOOD PLANNING NOW!, established and supported by Escondido Chamber of Citizens (ECOC), believes that too many of the projects being proposed in San Diego fail to adequately address impacts to the environment, traffic, water supply, wastewater treatment and infrastructure such as schools and fire resources, among others. We believe that it is necessary for new projects to incorporate essential planning principles to ensure the growth in our communities is livable and well-balanced.

GOOD PLANNING NOW! is deeply concerned about the proposed Merriam Mountains project and its failure to adhere to the County’s existing General Plan and General Plan Update.

GOOD PLANNING NOW! encourages you to add your voice to the growing and vigorous opposition of this project. Our goal is to collect letters before the project’s final hearing before the San Diego County Board of Supervisors on March 24th.
